I'm so over it....

Gosh, is anyone else a bit over daylight saving at the moment???
I don't know why they have extended it for a few weeks this year, but geeeez, it's still dark at 7am- I hate it!
& can't wait for it to be OVER! 
I mean, I love daylight saving in the middle of summer....but seriously, it should have ended a few weeks ago, like it does every other year.  I hope they aren't going to do THAT every year from now on *rolls eyes*. 

OK, I've had my little whinge...lol
Now for some scrappy shares :)

This LO was for Bon's colour challenge for the March CC - Using Red, black, white + a smidgen of orange...plus to use butterflies & the word priceless.  I LOVE these colours - I really love scrapping with red, so it was right up my ally.  Pic is of the 4 of us at Norfolk Island  earlier this year....love how this one came  out :)

All 3 layouts above are using the March boy kit from Bon's.  This kit was fun to work with - lots of masking & painting to create 3 different LO's. 

It is a wet miserable day here today - perfect weather to scrap the day away! 

I will be back in the next few days to share some April CT work....plus, hopefully, some scrapping I hope to get done over the next few days.

Update on my giveaway

WOW, I am so pleased with the response so far for my giveaway!  Thank you all for advertising on your blogs.....it is amazing how things like this get spread around & I'm blown away that it has reached all corners of the globe - Italy, Russia, USA, Slovenia, Phillipines...just to name a few!

Criteria was to have glimmermisting & masking,  to have a question being asked & also answered, a chipboard accent/embellishment....and to use KRAFT as your base.  DOHHHHH stupid me forgot that part & just used white CS.....grrrrr - so annoyed with myself!

Oh well.....I still like my LO & that is all that matters :)

100th post giveaway.....

Well, here I am posting my 100th post....as promised, I have a little something to celebrate *yay*
Although, it's really not so "little".....it is a rather large RAK *double yay*...but I haven't decided yet, whether to have it as one huge RAK, or maybe make it into a few RAK's....what do you think???

So, here is the pile of stash that I've been clearing out....there is a variety of stuff.... papers, alphas, flowers, bling, chipboard, ribbons, buttons, journal spots, brads, rubons.....pretty much a bit of everything, some being newish, others being old.  Plus I am still adding to it......but here it is so far.......

I will leave this open for .....ummmmm, I dunno.....till I say so....LOL

Not much on the scrappy front here atm....things have been a little hectic lately.

YAYYYYYY, it's finally done - my first published LO is in here.....

I didn't think I would be so excited, seeings that it seemed to take forever from when the LO was first accepted, until it was actually published - but it's now done & dusted! 

Wonder when they will let me know about the other 8 or so LO's that have been accepted?  - soon I hope!

I have been clearing out some of my scrap stash over the last week or so.....something that was way overdue!  Dear Lord, I have so much stuff!  I really think I need to seriously stop buying stuff until I have used the majority of what I already have....it's just so hard when all this new yummy stuff keeps coming out...ahhhhhhh.  I will, at the least, need to stop buying so much....I can only try!  LOL

Wonder what I could do with all this stash that I am clearing out?.........

OK, on to some scrappy shares.....

"Mr Attitude" - March sketch at Bon's.  You also had to include Felicity's painted circle technique - which is such a cool effective look!

"Magnificent Sunset" - March Stashstomper over at Scrapboutique.  Using Karen's gorgeous sketch & to use at least 3 different kinds of  fabrics or felt.  Pic is of a beautiful sunset at Norfolk Island. 

"It's all about the hat" - a LO I did at my LSS on Tuesday.  I haven't been able to attend the Tuesday group for over a year as I was taking Joel to Bathurst on Tuesdays, but now that he has his P's, I am able to meet up with these gorgeous girls each Tuesday - I have really missed it & am so glad that I am back!

"Boyz will be Boyz" - My take on the March sketch challenge at WIOIN.

My gosh, this layout became somewhat of a headache...LOL 

Originally I had cut out some of the circles & shapes from the Kaiser rewind paper ....but it just wasn't working - at all.  I was getting so frustrated with it all....and have ended up piecing most of the paper back to how it was....LOLLLL.  I guess you could call it a bit of a patchwork LO...hahaha!

Luckily I had 2 of these papers, so I have put some of the circles as a double layer, to give it a bit more definition.  OMG, the things I do!

Almost a century.....

Posts that is.....I'm almost at 100 posts...WOW!!!
This one is post # 98....hmmmmm, wonder what I could have up my sleeve for my 100th post?!?!?

You will have to keep stalking my blog to find out what it will be......but I promise, I will make it worthwhile :)

I haven't got alot of scrappyness to share with you today, just 3 LO's & maybe a little sneaky peak at something that you'll have to wait until next month to see the entire LO....aren't I such a tease!  LOL

This one is for the WIOIN year in review challenge - a layout each month about something that happened in that month....this is mine for Feb - DH had a track day down at Phillip Island with his mates & came home with all sorts of stories on what they did, how fast they went etc etc etc *rolls eyes*.  I really don't think I needed to know the bit about reaching speeds of 220kmph +  :-0  But he also came home with some awesome photos that will definitely NEED to be scrapped!

This one is for the ROTM (Room of the month) challenge over at Bon's.

To take inspiration from this room......

I took inspiration from the gorgeous colours....love them!!!

& used pics from our recent holiday to Norfolk Island.

This LO was a free class over at Bon's - hosted by Charm .....thanks for the awesome circle stitching techniques Charm :)

I love how this came out....Pic is of Joel just after he passed his driving test....he is now on his P's & on the road to freedom....he loves it that he can drive himself wherever he wants to go....I am loving it too ...LOL

Ok, last but not least.....that little sneaky peak......

Hahahaha.....well, I did say it would be a "sneaky" peek :)))...and you will have to wait almost a whole month before you can see what it issssssssss.....

I stole this idea of Tracey ...I seen it on her blog recently & thought it was a great idea....and just a bit sneaky & funny...LOL
