Just updating with my latest layouts from the past week or 2 that I haven't already shared......
This one is for the June Monthly challenge "A symbolic life" set by Em over at Scrapboutique.
We had to use at least 3 different symbols & to incorporate a shape (such as circle, diamond, hexagon, shield) on to our base cardstock. I thought the October Afternoon "Road maps" papers were perfect for the symbols!
And this one was for Amanda's June Stash stomper challenge at the Boutique.
To use up old chipboard alphas as either a background, border etc.
I used up some old Heidi Swapp CB alphas - using up some of those letters that you're always left with in the pack!
This one is for the June sketch challenge at Scrapbooking from Scratch.
And this last one is for the June 123 challenge (which is back up & running this month after a 6 month break)
The challenge was to use the word "New", dominant colour of white & to use a paint spreading technique (I spread mine with a piece of corrugated cardboard - didn't quite get the effect I had hoped for, but oh well)
And that's all I have for now - not alot of scrapping got done this week.
Hope everyone's having a great weekend - thanks for dropping by :)
