I really loved this sketch when I seen it, so of course I just had to give it a go!! (being the sketch junkie that I am...LOL). Love multi photo sketches <3....and with today's weather being a total washout & a wee bit windy, and being stuck inside for the day, I got stuck into it :)
Sketch #213
And here is what I came up with
Using some MME Miss Caroline mixed with MME Lost & Found Two...and some really OLD Basic Grey.
There's a few handmade embellies there in my cluster....along with a piece of 2crafty chipboard that I just happened to have in my stash ...that I have painted with a mixture of colours to get as close to the colour that I wanted, then I added some smudges of gesso & then lightly inked as well.
A close up of the 2crafty chipboard piece
My journaling - on strips of the MME Lost & Found 2 pp with a bit of a close up of the CW reverse Chickenwire template work using Gesso & then randomly inked.
And my title :)
Pics are from one of the many walks we did in Tassie...around Dove Lake, which is at the base of spectacular Cradle Mountain. The 2 hour walk (that took us way longer as we ventured off on a heap of different tracks) was made so easy with all the boardwalks everywhere....plus they made for some great photos :)
Okie doke....that's all I have for now...but if this wet weather continues over the weekend, I suspect I will be back with some more shares soon :).
Thanks for dropping by & have a great weekend, whatever you are up to & wherever you may be! xx

Skissedilla
I stumbled on this blog a few weeks ago (thanks to Louise Nelson...thanks Lou!), but have only just had a chance to give one of their sketches a go....
Sketch # 168
And here is my take on it....
Using some REALLY old 7 Gypsies paper that has been in my stash for about 8 years or so!!! lol
I've also used a CW template & some Gesso mixed with Mocha paint to create the background...then I've randomly sprayed a few different glimmermists as well.
A close up of my cluster that features a Lil' Red Rocket spotty button :) .....some Prima & Manorhouse flowers...Tim Holtz film strip ribbon & DA chipboard that I have painted in Pistachio coloured paint.
My journaling & more film strip ribbon, chipboard, Prima flower & D'Lish Scraps wooden butterfly button.
My title & a bit of a close up of the Gesso/template work
Pic is from our trip to Tassie....of some old farm equipment at an old Homestead called "Highfield" near Stanley, which I loved!
Thanks for dropping by! xx

Scrap Africa with 2wenty Thr3e
Hello again fellow bloggers! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend...even if the weather wasn't too pleasant, as it was here...but at least the unpleasant weather makes for perfect scrapping time! lol
I'm here to share another layout that I have based on Scrap Africa's sketch #6 using my June DT kit from Handmade by Suzanne featuring Cosmo Cricket's 2wenty Thr3e range...which is available in store HERE.
Here is the fab sketch...
I have turned the sketch 90deg clockwise, and came up with this....
My title using AC Thickers....and also a few of the chipboard stickers from the Ready Set Chipboard pack.
And finally, my journaling & more of the template/gesso work...with a tiny peek of the punched border
Pic is of my DD & her friend at a 21st fancy dress party a few years ago....I thought the fun photo was perfect with the bright orange & the pink in these papers :)
I've REALLY enjoyed scrapping with this fun range of papers from Cosmo Cricket...and just love the variety of layouts that I've created with it too :)
Thanks so much for dropping by....have a lovely week everyone! xx

A new sketch @ Sketchabilities
Sketch #73 has just gone live on the Sketchabilities blog....and as always, it is a fabulous sketch created by Karan Gerber.
I actually ended up doing 2 layouts for this sketch....cos' the first one I did, I just wasn't 100% happy with (not sure why)...so I did another! So here is the 2nd layout that I did & the one that is featured on the Sketchabilities blog.....
Using some fairly old Basic Grey paper that I've masked, misted & inked.... and lots of Lil' Red Rocket goodies, along with other embellies from my stash.
For a heap more inspiration, head over to the Sketchabilities blog to see what the rest of the DT have created...I'm sure you won't be disappointed! If you've been inspired to give the sketch a go, simply upload your layout to the linky tool at the bottom of THIS POST on the sketchabilities blog.

Pic is of my crazy, but entertaining, DD
I was going to share the original layout that I did, but I've just discovered that I didn't even take a photo of it...I guess that shows just how un-impressed I was with it! haha (but at least I didn't bin it)

Cosmo Cricket + Sketches in Thyme
Hi everyone....I'm back to share another layout I've created using my DT kit from Handmade by Suzanne - Cosmo Cricket - 2wenty Thr3e collection.
I've based my layout on this great multi pic sketch #80 at Sketches in Thyme
I've based my layout on this great multi pic sketch #80 at Sketches in Thyme
And here is my layout....
Using papers, chipboard stickers, stacked stickers, Journal tags & Washi tape from the 2wenty Thr3e collection....all available in store at Handmade by Suzanne HERE
I've also added some Lil' Red Rocket embellishments....a large heart button & some grey bakers twine.
Along with a few other bits & pieces from my stash.
..
I created my background page using the reverse chicken wire template from Crafters Workshop with some Gesso mixed with TA glimmermist (Oriental Poppy)....plus I've then randomly sprayed the Oriental Poppy GM over my background page as well.
My Journaling is on the (23) journal tag tucked in under my photos...which tells the 23 reasons why I loved The Bay of Fires in Tasmania :)
And, while I have your attention (lol)....I might as well give a little toot on a few wins/features I had for some scrapping entries last month :)))
The first one was over at Get Creative & you can check out the announcement HERE ...I was totally chuffed about this one....my first international win!! Yay me....lol. A big thanks to Mays sponsor Celine Navarro from The Green Frog Studio
And another one, for the same layout, at "This one's a winner" - thanks Tiff for the very generous prize voucher at Scrap Sanity!
And lastly....I had a feature for one of my layouts over at "Scrap Africa" ...and will be Guest designing over there next month :)
Now onto another note....Erin Blegen, who is one very talented scrapper....who previously shared a blog with her sister, Kelly...has now started afresh with a bland new blog of her own....and she is trying to rebuild up her followers & is having a giveaway...so head on over to her new blog & check out all the fabulous stuff she is giving away & find out all the details on how you can enter!!!
You can find her blog & all the giveaway details HERE
Well, that's all from me folks....thanks for dropping by & leaving any comments you may leave! xx

More 2wenty Thr3e for the Color Room....
I think I've only ever played along at the Colour Room just once before...which was a very long time ago.
But when I seen the new release #114, I was inspired by Heather Jacob's layout & I just had to give it a go....and YAY that the colours matched with my Cosmo Cricket 2wenty Thr3e DT kit from Handmady by Suzanne! Gotta love that!
So, here is the gorgeous #114 colour palette
And here is my layout
Again using papers, chipboard stickers, Stacked stickers & Washi Tape from the 2wenty Thr3e collection. I only had a small piece of the Postcards paper left from my previous layout, so cutting it out into hexagons was the perfect way to make it go just that little bit further...plus give the layout that trendy hexagon look!
Close up of my cluster....with a gorgeous Lil' Red Rocket owl button - these are so so adorable, I love them! Also some Dusty Attic & Maya Road chipboard, Kaiser blooms and a handmade yo yo flower made by moi from some old calico I had laying around.
The 2wenty Thr3e Washi tape & a few small chipboard pieces
More Washi tape, chipboard pieces & my journaling
And lastly, a close up of the chevron template work, where I have watered down some Suede glimmermist & painted it on...then I've randomly spritzed the same glimmermist over my page (not watered down though).
So that's how I spent my Friday night....how did you spend yours?
Thanks for dropping by....have a great weekend everyone! xx

Cosmo Cricket - 2wenty Thr3e & Creative Scrappers
Hi everyone!
Just popping in to share a layout I've created today using my June DT kit, featuring Cosmo Cricket's 2wenty Thr3e (gosh that is hard to type! lol)..... from Handmade by Suzanne
I have used sketch #211 at Creative Scrappers
And here is my take on the sketch....
Using lots of goodies from the 2wenty Thr3e range including papers, chipboard stickers, stacked stickers & journal cards.....all available in store!
A close up of my cluster...which also has a gorgeous Lil' Red Rocket October Afternoon fabric covered Pear button <3. The large flower is from my recent prize pack from Manor House Creations....and I have misted it with GM to help tone in with the rest of the layout.
For my background on the pink "Oh happy day" paper, I have used a CW brick template with white paint & then randomly sprayed TA Wheatfields & Suede Glimmermist.
A close up of some of the chipboard stickers.
The colours in this range are just gorgeous & I'm really looking forward to creating more with them.
The journal tag pack is just fabulous...there are 24 pages....all different designs! And the stacked stickers & chipboard stickers are great & easy to work with too :) I also have some Washi Tape from this range in my kit...so I'm looking forward to creating with that in my next layouts.
Photo is from our trip to Tassie....at the Eddystone Lighthouse (which is behind us in the background).
This place was amazing for taking photos....I think I took a couple of hundred while there!! lol
Not just of the lighthouse, but also the beaches, rocks, shacks etc all around the area.
Ok, folks....that's all from me for now. I shall be back with more layouts in the coming days :)
Thanks for dropping by! xx

A new month = a new sketch challenge
My gosh...where on earth did May go? I feel like I blinked & it just disappeared...am I the only one, or is everyone else feeling that this year is going by even faster than last year?!
So, being the first of June, means there is a new sketch challenge up at Handmade by Suzanne.
And this month we see another new sketch by the oh.so.very.talented Nadia Cannizzo! :)
Here is Nadia's sketch that she created especially for Handmade by Suzanne....
And here is my take on it.....
Using some more of those new techniques I have been working on ..... misting & stamping on the background and well as some runs of mist.
Pic is of the ruins of the old church at Port Arthur....simply known as "The Church"....being a non-demoninational church in the convict settlement. I had a play around with PicMonkey to edit the photo & just love the effect that it gave, which suits the vintage style of the layout :)
If you feel inspired to participate in this months sketch challenge, simply upload your layouts to the June sketch comp folder in the Handmade by Suzanne gallery by midnight on 30th June, to be in the running for a $30 store voucher that includes free postage! YAY
I would love to see some of my blog followers enter! :)
Thanks for visiting my little part of blogworld. xx
