Last layout for June using Basic Grey Tea Garden - for All About Scrapbooks

Hello Hello

I have one last layout for June to share for All About Scrapbooks
using Basic Grey Tea Garden collection.

The layout is almost Christmas themed!....

"Jump"

I had fun with those circles....all cut from the Spiced paper, which is covered in those lovely big pastel yellow spots!

Here's a few close ups.....

I kind of "double framed" the photo using a 2Crafty polaroid frame & one of the
circular stickers on the Element sticker sheet - I love the effect :)

To find out all the ins & outs on products & techniques, please head on over to the AAS blog HERE

Keeping it short & sweet tonight :)

More Basic Grey Tea Garden for All About Scrapbooks

Hello Hello

I have another layout to share for All About Scrapbooks using the super versatile

I say versatile, because the layout I've created is a travel themed layout....so yep,
I'd say it's definitely versatile ...lol :)

"Lough Caragh"

I went for the green  & yellow toned papers to tie in with the colours in the photos
plus a bit of added blue

The photos were from our trip to Ireland...on the beautiful Ring of Kerry.

Here's a few close ups....

Kaisercraft DT - Into the Wild

Hello everyone & thanks so much for dropping by today :)

I am back to share my Kaisercraft DT work using the 3rd release for June,
Into the Wild - this one is full of amazing patterns & animal prints,
which is really quite trendy at the moment!

Sadly, I have only been able to create one layout with this collection :(
Which, also sadly, is my last as a Kaisercraft DT member :(

"Explore the Zoo"

It was REALLY hard to choose a background paper for my one & only layout.
I tend to use my fav's for my background....and there were just too many fav's with this one! lol
I finally decided on Savannah & have layered up a few papers at the top of the layout, including the specialy diecut paper - Desert...this is such a COOL diecut paper!!

I've used a variety of diecut collectable pieces....and also some stamped images using the stamp set.

Also some stickers from the sticker sheet.

More collectables...and a bit of a close up of the Desert diecut paper.

My title is one of the diecut words from the collectables pack, and I've added some texture to it using modelling paste & then painting with mist.

I've also used one of the other stamps in this collection - Cheetah texture stamp....perfect for some background stamping!

There is also another texture stamp - Zebra!

And some more of the stamping detail.
A lot of the collectables & stamped images I have put up onto foam tape to give
some dimension to the page.

Kaisercraft products – Savannah P1863,  Anamalia P1868,  Giraffe P1867,  Desert – Specialty Diecut PS414,  Collectables CT830,  Sticker Sheet SS285,  Paper Pad PP972,  Into the Wild clear stamp set CS220,  Cheetah texture stamp CS222
Other – Modelling paste, Glimmermist,  Distress Ink,  Foam tape

You will find a lot more inspiration over on the Kaisercraft blog HERE - Into the Wild is being featured over the next few days.  We would love for you to visit us over there :)

As I mentioned earlier, this is my last creation & post as DT member for Kaisercraft.
I would like to thank Kaisercraft for this fantastic opportunity....it has been enjoyable & a great experience, although a bit trying at times, as unfortunately I did struggle towards the end of my term due to a few medical issues, as well as lack of time....and felt that I didn't create as much as I would have liked.  But I did as best as I could under the circumstances...and was determined to
NOT quit & throw it in.

Thanks again for visiting my blog today :)
And for listening to my ramblings...lol   xxx

Kaisercraft DT - Fiesta

Hello Hello, and welcome :)

Today I am back to share my Kaisercraft DT work, using the 2nd new release for June
Fiesta!  This is such a bright funky collection!!!  The name of the collection describes it to a T!

I was a little pushed for time creating for this month, so I have only managed to create a set of cards.
I would have really loved to be able to create more with this one - well, not only this collection, but all Kaisercraft collections each month!

Thinking of You

I started by picking out a few of my favourite papers & have layered them up & finished off with a centre piece that I've stamped using the Fiesta stamp set - this is a super cool stamp set, I tell ya!
& a cluster of blooms, collectables & some cotton thread.
The centre circular piece was cut using the full circle piece of the Circle Card Flip die that was released this month.

There are a few stamps that come with this collection - called Aztec & Geo
I have used the Aztec stamp on all 3 cards....it is a set of super cool geometric strips.

I've added some veneer brackets that I've painted white for a little bit of contrast.

Kaisercraft products – Arriba P1862, Paper Pad PP971, Collectables CT829, Fiesta clear stamp set CS226, Aztec Texture stamp CS219, Sunset paper bloom F634, Hot Pink paper bloom F663, Sea Breeze mini paper bloom F648, Hot Pink Rhinestone SB702, Circle Card Flip Die DD111
Other – Cotton thread,  Button, Bracket veneers, Foam tape, Butterfly punches,  Archival Ink

You Make Me Happy

Again, very similar design...with layers of PP & a circular centre piece.
All 3 cards also have a little clump of messy cotton & some stamping using the Aztec stamp set.

Other – Butterfly veneer, Flair button,  Cotton thread,  Foam tape,  Archival Ink

Hello Beautiful

The third card is pretty much similar to the first 2 in design principle
just to tie them all together as a set.

More Basic Grey - Tea Garden for All About Scrapbooks

Hello everyone & welcome

I am back with another post to share my next layout using
Basic Grey Tea Garden  for All About Scrapbooks

Have I mentioned how pretty this collection is?  I think the papers pretty much speak for themselves, but just thought I'd mention it {again} anyway! lol

"Missing You"

Again I've gone for one of my fav papers for the background....Rose Hip, & have layered a few other papers in behind the photo with some added 2Crafty Polaroid Frames & paper doily in amongst them.

Some close ups....

I will be adding much more {very personalised} journaling to the back of the page.
This is my Granny who lived back in Ireland for the latter years of her life, and who sadly passed away not long after this photo was taken...and I have lots of thoughts, feelings, memories etc etc
that I want to add <3

The man with her is the same man that was in a photo that I scrapped last month - the one with my dad & his mates in front of the old car - obviously he was much younger then...the father of Eddie Irvine, the forumala 1 driver :)  I am very thankful that he took the time to visit my granny in her last days <3

These gorgeous little Flying Birds are 2Crafty chipboard too...I love them <3

I'm sure you know the drill by now **wink, wink**......pop on over to the AAS blog HERE
for all the details on products & techniques used :)

Thank you for visiting today...xxx

Kaisercraft DT - Secret Garden

Hello everyone....I hope you are enjoying this long weekend!
I am currently away, so this is a scheduled post :)

The first June release I have to share for my Kaisercraft DT work is the beautiful
Secret Garden collection....it is beautiful & pretty!

"Florist on Grafton"

I've used the reverse side of the Wildflower paper for my background...which has a soft pretty pink text all over it <3.

I've layered a few papers that I cut into banner shapes in under the photo & then created a little cluster using paper blooms & collectables pieces.

And also added a few of the stickers from the sticker sheet.

More diecut collectables pieces...up on some foam tape, and one of the border stickers from the sticker sheet across the top of the torn pieces of PP.

The pink & white alpha stickers are Kaisercraft...with some more collectables & strip journaling.

The pic was taken on Dublin's most famous street for shopping - Grafton Street (which is actually more of a pedestrian mall...although does have vehicle access for deliveries etc).  This little florist stall was so bright & colourful & really gave the area a major lift.

Kaisercraft products – Wildflower P1846, Posy P1847, Forget-Me-Not P1851, Paper Pad PP970,  Collectables CT828, Sticker Sheet SS283, Coconut paper bloom F627, Fairy Floss mini paper bloom F657, Iceberg mini paper bloom F647, Coral alpha stickers AS256, White alpha stickers AS252, Lime Green KaiserMIST KM104,
Other – Border punch, Alpha stickers

Next is a card....
And it's a little different to my normally plain kinda cards!
This one I have used one of the new Kaisercraft Card Creations Dies - Circle Card Flip!

"Make a Wish"

So as you can see, it's not a normal flat card.  Just by using the Circle Card Flip die....your card transforms into more of a pop up card!

This is the die -

Which consists of 3 pieces - a full circle, half circle & a smaller half circle.
By using the smaller half circle on what would normally be the inside/back of your card, it creates a little round tab that the front cover of the card can slot into to stand/display your pop-up card.
And the larger half circle, I've used on the front folded edge of the card to create a half circle that pops up from the rest of the card.  I then added a circular collectables piece to it, rather than using the full circle die....hope that all makes sense!

I've added a small cluster of paper blooms & punched leaves.
This pic is with the card closed.

And also some punched butterflies.

Kaisercraft products – Posy P1847,  Paper Pad PP970,  Collectables CT828,  Sticker Sheet SS283,  Circle Card Flip Die DD111,  Iceberg paper bloom F630,  Fiary Floss mini paper blooms F652, White premium cardstock CD601, Ice Blue rhinestone SB774
Other –  Butterfly & Leaf punches, foam tape.

That is all for yet another Kaisercraft collection.
I shall be back next week with the 2nd release for June :)

To see what the other DT members have created with this beautiful collection, pop on over to the Kaisercraft blog HERE - the collection is being featured over 3 days - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, so make sure you scroll down through the posts :)

Until then....Happy Scrapping! xx

Basic Grey Tea Garden for All About Scrapbooks

A big hello & welcome...thanks for dropping by today :)

This month I will be creating with the oh so pretty
Basic Grey Tea Garden collection for All About Scrapbooks.

And for my first layout...no tea, nor gardens in sight :D  lol

"Swing Time"

I really love the crisp white of this paper with the daisy type pattern...so, of course it had to be my background!  It is the Chamomile paper...and the yellow piece in under the photos is
the reverse side of it.

I have added a few Green Tara flowers, Tea Garden stickers, stamped images, Flutterby flair, punched butterflies & a few brads to embellish the page :)

Here's a few close ups.

The frame around the photo on the right is a 2Crafty Polaroid Frame, that I've
altered the colour & added some stamping.

Just look at that happy little gorgeous face <3

More details with a list of products can be seen over on the AAS blog...so feel free to pop on over there for a squiz!  You can find it HERE

Thanks again for taking the time to pay me a visit today :)
