What a week.....

Thank God it's the weekend! What a shocker of a week at work - it was just crazy! Only 1 more week of full time to go (YAY) and then hopefully I can get some organisation back into my life :)

Just a quick update of some recent layouts.....

^^ "She is such a crack up" - This is DD - being her crazy, silly self while we were at Jindabyne. And yes....she has her underwear over the top of her clothes (I'm so glad that she doesn't read my blog, because I reckon she would just about kill me right now.....LOL). I'm sure you're all getting the gist of who this girl takes after..... hahaha

^^ "Why so serious?" - DH looking really serious - which is very unusual for him. Used lots of leftover scraps for this one.

^^ "Cheeky face" - This was a blind scrap at Scrapbook N Bits - hosted by Niq. Just love how this came out - even though I ended up with things back to front to what they should have been...lol

^^ "Smile like no other" - Me, with another photo of myself that I actually like (which is pretty rare)....used some old Cosmo Cricket - Everafter....that I've been meaning to use for ages. Quite like how this one came out :)
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend....fingers crossed that the weather stays nice! I'm so over the wind we've been having!
Happy scrapping :)......

Busy, Busy, Busy....

I am just about half way through my 4 weeks of working full-time....just 2 weeks to go! & then I can enjoy a full week off before starting my new job, just 2 days per week....YAY!!

So, not alot of scrapping has been happening around here...but I do have a few layouts to share that I've done over the past week or so.....

^^ Besties....I've just noticed that the background colour of this looks awful - IRL it is a really soft lemon colour & looks great....but for some reason it's come out quite irky looking in the pic.
Anyways....I loved scrapping with these colours - I think they look great! Most products used for this one are from Bella.

^^ Stray shooting Archery ...is my entry for this months "WIOIN" sketch challenge. Pic is of Joel shooting some Archery when we were at Jindabyne back at Easter...I really love how this LO came out. You can check out this months sketch at WIOIN here

^^ And this one I ended up making as a double LO for the LO above - needed to use up
more pics of Joel doing the Archery. Haven't done a double page in what seems like forever!
Both pages were done using the Summer Seas kit from WIOIN ....plus extra bits & pieces from my stash.

Just a quick post tonight - feeling super tired (probably work catching up with me) and should get myself to bed. Thanks for dropping by.....and happy scrapping! :)

October Scrap the Boys....

This months challenge at Scrap the Boys is to create a LO using this AD (you can interpret this however you please...colours, sketch, circles, surf inspired...whatever) .

Email your entries to....... susan.longman@bigpond.com by the 31st of October

^^ Here is my sample LO - "Fully Focused"....I used the AD as a sketch, plus took inspiration from the colours - just using scraps of paper to make different sized circles.

Seeing that we're at the beginning of yet ANOTHER new month....I thought it was time for a blog makeover....found some great blog backgrounds at this fantastic site....HotBliggityBlog ....go check them out.

Hope everyone is having a great long weekend....even though the weather is really miserable!
