Hi everyone,
So here we are into April! I'm not sure how that happened so quick!!
But I do know that it means I am way behind on sharing some of my work for
(I guess that's what happens when you have been unwell)
This is my last layout for March, using the fabulous "Destination Unknown" from 7 Dots Studio.
This is something I have been wanting to scrap for YEARS, and this collection was the absolute perfect one for it....well worth the wait, I say :)
"7 Years Beyond the Seas"
My hubby's GGGG Grandparents both came to Australia on the First Fleet...so this is what my layout is about. Obviously, the photo was not taken by me!! lol It is one that I found online.
I have the basics of the journaling on the front of the page with the rest of it going on the back....and there is LOTS of it telling their story about the crimes they committed to be sentenced to transportation to Australia, and then what I know about their life here in Australia.
It is certainly one page that I am happy to finally have done :)
Here's a few close ups.
For all the details on products & techniques used, please pop over to the AAS blog HERE
And the Destination Unknown collection can be found in the AAS store HERE
This collection is not only suited for travel/destination type layouts, but is also a great range for masculine themed pages as well :)
Thanks so much for dropping by today xx
So perfect for this collection, as you say! I can see a History album in the making atm!!! And those hessian-ish flowers you're using....love 'em!!! Happy Easter, Linda!!
