Hi everyone & welcome :)
Today I have my first August layout for All About Scrapbooks - using the very bright & cheery "Capture Life" collection by Echo Park. There are so many fun colours & patterns in this collection, making it very versatile for any theme of layout.
I've created my layout for the August Scrap365 sketch.
"Escape to the City"
Firstly, I have to say....how cool is that background paper!!!!
I didn't want to cover any of it up! lol So I kept my photo & embellishments off to the side, trying not to cover up any of that amazing city scape that is seen through some of the chevrons :)
Here is this months fab Scrap365 sketch....
And a few close ups...
Some fab 2Crafty Heart Silhouettes <3
I really love the colours in this...the teal, white, grey & black all look fantastic together :)
But this collection has a whole heap of other colours to it too, which I'll be sharing over the next few weeks :)
More details, including products & techniques used can be seen over on the AAS blog HERE
We would love you to pop over for a little looksie & perhaps let us know that you dropped by :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to see what I've been up to :)
Take care & happy scrapping ... xx

Wow...I initially thought the chevrons was a diecut overlay. So awesome. Beautiful page. I will let you know what stencil I used as soon as I get home next week xxx

Thanks for playing with us at Scrap365!
Oh wow. That paper is awesome. I actually thought you had cut the chevrons out and put a photo behind the paper.....now that would require patience.
I love your design and the finer details are perfect.
Thanks for joining us at Scrap365 :)
