Design Team Callout.....

Did you know that All About Scrapbooks is having a design team callout?

All About Scrapbooks Australia

I have been on the All About Scrapbooks DT for close to 2 years now,
and I have to say that it is the BEST design team I've ever been on.

Vanessa is the most easy going person there is, and she is super super generous with her DT packages.
You would not be disappointed if you were successful in making the team, so if this sounds like your kind of DT to be on, it will really be worth your while to apply!

So what are you waiting for?

You can find all the details over on the AAS blog HERE

Hi everyone :)

I have another layout to share using Cocoa Vanilla Studio's amazing

This collection is so suitable for all kinds of layouts...little boys, big boys, and even travel themed layouts, as I have done here.....

I love the background paper here....it is appropriately named "Awesome"!

Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Made of Awesome" for All About Scrapbooks

Hello Hello & welcome :)

This month I will be working with the Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Made of Awesome" collection., which is one of the newest aussie kids on the block in the scrapbooking world -  by Zoe Pearn.

This is such a FUN collection...and would be suited for any aged boy layouts, and perhaps non male layouts as well ;)

My layout is based on Sketchabilities sketch #144

"Totally Awesome"

There's lots of fabulous colours in this collection...I've gone for one of the plainer papers for my background piece...the reverse side of the Lucky Star paper, which is this lovely orange with a very subtle geometric pattern over it.

Here is the fun sketch at Sketchabilities

And some close ups.....

There's lots of great diecuts, flairs & vellum embellies....just to name a few ;)

And super cool tickets.

Love this 2Crafty chipboard face - from the Smiley Faces pack.

So that's it from me for another week :)

Last 2 layouts with Crate Paper "Journey" for All About Scrapbooks

Hi all & happy Friday :)

Just popping in to share my last 2 layouts for July, using Crate Paper's Journey collection for

They are both travel themed layouts from our recent trip up north.

"Travel Bug"

How cool is that background map paper?  I've added a little colour to it to help it blend in with the colours in my embellies & layers.

Lots of fabulous feathers in this collection...

And cork & arrow embellies too :)

Love all the travel tags too

"Hello Stanley"

I've used another fairly plain paper for the background on this one, with some added splashes of stains/mists.

More feathers...these ones are puffy stickers & I've popped them on top of some
2Crafty Indian feathers ;)

There's also lots of gold foil embellies with this collection, which blend in really nicely with the colours & patterns.

Stanley is a humungously tall emu on the outskirts of Lightning Ridge...he is made of VW Beetle parts - bonnets & doors mostly, & I've used a 2Crafty polaroid frame to focus on Stanley in one of the photos.

More tickets & tags

Even one of the papers in this collection is covered in feathers!

Kraft + August challenge

Good morning all :)

This months challenge at Kraft + certainly is a challenge....but I have to say, once you get started, it will be a FUN challenge!  Well, at least that is what I found.

The challenge this month is ZENTANGLE DOODLING....on KRAFT, of course :)

It can be as much or as little as you like in regards to the doodling....just as long as there is some somewhere on your creation, and remember, it doesn't have to be a layout, Kraft+ accepts all kinds of creations, so get creative & get doodling, we would love to see you enter!

Here is what I came up with....a card.

"Happy Birthday"

For my Zentangling, I have diecut some leaves, coloured them with mists etc and then got to  doodling.

If you're stuck for ideas on patterns, google zentangle patterns or head to pinterest....there are LOTS of ideas out there.

You can see the full Kraft + post over HERE, where you will get a heap of
inspiration & ideas for the challenge.

Thanks for dropping by & enjoy the rest of your day :)  xx
