Kaisercraft DT - Rustic Harmony

Hello again everyone....gosh, what a busy week it's been!!!

I am back with a few projects using another new Kaisecraft collection....
Rustic Harmony.

This collection is nothing short of beautiful...it is soft and pretty, yet rustic at the same time.  Lots of woodgrained & antiquey type papers, that would suit any style of layout.  As you can see below, I have used a photo from Dublin on our trip last year, and if you remember back on my Kaisercraft Finalist DT application post,  I got to play with this gorgeous collection back then too, and again,
I created a travel page from Ireland.

You can see my blog post using this same collection HERE, if you're interested :)

"Ha' Penny Bridge"

I've used the Kaisercraft Quarters template on my background with some modelling paste, and also some stamping with KC script stamp....and I've then layered up different papers & a heap of Collectables pieces, plus some stickers in there as well.

And of course...some Paper Blooms - I absolutely love my paper blooms <3 and some diecut leaves to help finish off the cluster.

I've added some gesso, swiped across the Paper Blooms & leaves to help tie in with the
feel of these rustic papers.

This collection comes with alpha stickers on the sticker sheet, so I've used them in my title, as well as some KC white alpha stickers that I've inked a soft pink.  I love the size of these alpha stickers...as they are not too big, they are just the perfect size :)

Here's a close up of the stencil work & stamping on the background.

And a close up of the main area of the page.

Next up is a BTP project.......

"Sweet Love"
Using a Kaisercraft freestanding heart

I've used 2 layers of paper, with the top layer cut slightly smaller than the bottom, so that it created a bit of a border around the outside of the heart.  I've also distressed & inked the edges of the inner heart to help give it a bit more definition.

I created a cluster made up of 3 different coloured paper blooms, some stickers & diecuts...plus a really OLD KC wooden flourish that I found buried in my stash...lol!  Also added some muslin & some die-cut leaves.

I've added a bit of texture to the wooden flourish & then coloured it with glimmermist.

And here is a few of the Collectables pieces....layered butterflies & some cute little banners.

I hope you like what I've created & have been inspired by this beautiful collection.

Kaisercraft DT - Tropical Punch

Hi again everyone....I am back with my next lot of DT work for Kaisercraft using the fun & colourful "Tropical Punch" collection.  There are so many delicious colours & patterns in this one...it kinda reminded me of fruit salad!!  So that is what my layout is about....

"Sweet Bliss"

I've added some stencil work using Kaisercraft Lattice template with modelling paste on the background and have layered a few papers in under the photos....which were not taken by me, they are from a recipe website.

Lots of Collectables pieces around the page...and also some paper blooms to form a small cluster.

More collectables pieces to form the title and a few cute little butterflies.

The doily is from the Collectables pack also...and I've cut it in half & used it in 2 separate positions on the page.  Journaling is on one of the cute little journal spots from the Collectables pack.

Another Collectables piece...the little banner at the top & I've also added a few heart stickers on top, from the Sticker Sheet.

Kaisercraft DT - North Pole

Hello everyone...I hope you are having a great start to the week!

I am up on the Kaisercraft blog this week with 3 new paper collections.
Todays post is using another Christmas collection....North Pole!

It is a fun collection, with quite a few non-traditional colours...which I love!
I have created 2 layouts....one is Christmas themed and the other is from our holiday to Ireland last year, so this is quite a versatile collection and would be suited for other layouts besides Christmas :))

"Dreaming of a White Christmas"

As the North Pole name suggests - the colours are well suited for snow themed Christmas layouts.
The photo I've used is not actually a photo....it is an image from an e-card, so was not taken by me.
I have always dreamt of having a White Christmas, so I thought this paper collection was perfect to document that dream :)

I've used the gorgeous Snowflakes paper for the background, with those
awesome faux stitched chevrons!

My cluster has a few paperblooms, Collectables pieces & also some stickers from the sticker sheet.
I've also added a few spirals from the stems of the paper blooms

I have layered a variety of papers in under the photo & also some Collectables pieces as well.

These baubles are gorgeous pieces from the Collectables pack.
I love delving into each paper collections Collectables pack...it is quite literally, just like Chrismtas!
They are always filled with a HEAP of fabulous pieces....in all different shapes & sizes.

I have added my journaling to the back of a tag & it slips just in under the photo.

There is also some mesh tape around the edges of my paper layers for a bit of added texture.

Kaisercraft Products:  Snowflakes P1632, Toboggan P1637, Paper Pad PP950, Collectables CT807, Sticker Sheet SS257, Sage Paper Blooms F632, Iceburg Paper Blooms F630, Fire Red Paper Blooms F664, White Lace EM926, White alpha Stickers AS252, Black Ink Pad IP719,
Paper Bloom wire stems.
Other:  Mesh Tape

Next up is a non-Christmas layout....

"Kinsale Harbour"

I thought the colours in this collection well suited the colours of the amazing Kinsale Harbour.
So again, a few simple layers in under the photo, using papers & collectables pieces...plust some Kaisercraft printed tape.

Another cluster with paper blooms, Collectables & some 2Crafty Chipboard - Summer Leaf Stems

Here you can see where I've used a few Collectables pieces layered in with the papers...and there's also a bit of light stamping on the background using KC Grid stamp.

More Collectables & stickers to form a little cluster at the bottom of the page.

Kaisercraft Products: Toboggan P1637, Candy Cane P1634, Elves P1636, Paper Pad PP950, Collectables CT807. All I can say about this collection is....WOW!
The papers are to die for!!  This is one of those that you simply "must have"!
Hopefully my page will speak for itself to show you exactly what I mean.....

My layout is based on the October sketch at Scrap365

How awesome & cool is that background paper?!?
It is called "watercolour" ....and I think it's obvious why!
All those gorgeous looking coloured watermarks are part of the paper....I didn't add them!
All I've added is a bit of stencil work, light stamping & a few flicks of dark brown mist.

October Afternoon "Public Library" - For All About Scrapbooks

Hi everyone....I'm just quickly popping in on this Friday night to share my last layout created for my September DT work for All About Scrapbooks.

Over the past 4 weeks, I've managed to create a variety of layouts using the fabulous
"Public Library" collection from October Afternoon.  I really love that I was able to create a wide range of layouts with this one collection that was ultimately intended for Library, school, book themed layouts.  So I think it's fairly safe to say that it really is a super versatile collection :)

"Weeeee"

Gotta love that chevron paper on the background :)

Lots of stamped squares used to layer up behind the photo

I just had to use that gorgeous hot air balloon somehow on my page, and although it's quite a large piece, I love how it's turned out <3

For more details on techniques & products used, please pop over to the
All About Scrapbooks blog HERE
