It's been wonderful to catch up on lots of things at home, plus be able to scrap, scrap, scrap!
Here are the LO's that I'm able to share.....
^^ "Boyz dressed to thrill" - Using MME kit that I've had FOREVER! Pic is of DS & his mate, all dressed up to attend a Deb Ball....don't they look so handsome!?!? Not sure I'm thrilled with the title though....still thinking of maybe changing it?

^^ "Travelling down the road of LIFE" - This was a free class over at Bon's Scraps, by Charmane Koch - just love this LO - thanks Charmane!

^^ "One of those million dollar moments" - challenge for October White with 1 - using white, duck egg blue & distressing.....LOVE how this one turned out :)
Well, that's it for now...there are more LO's I've done, but I can't share them just yet *wink)
Don't forget the Scrapbook N Bits cyber crop on tonight....hope to see you there!

Just 2 months from now.....

And we will be off to Norfolk Island!!!

Just a tad bit excited here....paid the final amount on our holiday today - so now the countdown is on!...can't wait!

What a beautiful looking place.....bring on Dec 26th!!! :))))

On the scrappy front, here are a few LO's I did over the past few days.......

^^ "Track Diva" .... pic of DD posing on the athletics track at Jindabyne back at Easter (lol, she is such a dag). I did this LO for the CC sketch challenge at Scrapboutique...great challenge! Used bits & pieces left over from some WION kits.

^^ "Motocross Mud" is for the October monthly challenge at Scrapbook n Bits - pic is of DS covered in mud after a wet day at the motocross track - and no, it wasn't fun washing all the gear

^^ "Taking the scenic route" is for the October challenge at Scrapboutique - which was a theme of "Around Town" . I've been meaning to do something like this for along time now, so when i seen this months challenge I was very inspired to finally get it done!

What are you doing this coming weekend? If you're up for some scrappy fun, why not head on over to Scrapbook n Bits for their Spring into Summer cyber crop....should be alot of fun - hope to see you there!

I am enjoying a WHOLE week off work this week.....wooohoooo! Then I will be back to only 2 days per week - I'm hoping that I can then start to have a bit more organisation in my
Thanks for dropping by.....and I hope everyone is off to a great start for yet another week!

What a week.....

Thank God it's the weekend! What a shocker of a week at work - it was just crazy! Only 1 more week of full time to go (YAY) and then hopefully I can get some organisation back into my life :)

Just a quick update of some recent layouts.....

^^ "She is such a crack up" - This is DD - being her crazy, silly self while we were at Jindabyne. And yes....she has her underwear over the top of her clothes (I'm so glad that she doesn't read my blog, because I reckon she would just about kill me right now.....LOL). I'm sure you're all getting the gist of who this girl takes after..... hahaha

^^ "Why so serious?" - DH looking really serious - which is very unusual for him. Used lots of leftover scraps for this one.

^^ "Cheeky face" - This was a blind scrap at Scrapbook N Bits - hosted by Niq. Just love how this came out - even though I ended up with things back to front to what they should have

^^ "Smile like no other" - Me, with another photo of myself that I actually like (which is pretty rare)....used some old Cosmo Cricket - Everafter....that I've been meaning to use for ages. Quite like how this one came out :)
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend....fingers crossed that the weather stays nice! I'm so over the wind we've been having!
Happy scrapping :)......

Busy, Busy, Busy....

I am just about half way through my 4 weeks of working full-time....just 2 weeks to go! & then I can enjoy a full week off before starting my new job, just 2 days per week....YAY!!

So, not alot of scrapping has been happening around here...but I do have a few layouts to share that I've done over the past week or so.....

^^ Besties....I've just noticed that the background colour of this looks awful - IRL it is a really soft lemon colour & looks great....but for some reason it's come out quite irky looking in the pic.
Anyways....I loved scrapping with these colours - I think they look great! Most products used for this one are from Bella.

^^ Stray shooting Archery my entry for this months "WIOIN" sketch challenge. Pic is of Joel shooting some Archery when we were at Jindabyne back at Easter...I really love how this LO came out. You can check out this months sketch at WIOIN here

^^ And this one I ended up making as a double LO for the LO above - needed to use up
more pics of Joel doing the Archery. Haven't done a double page in what seems like forever!
Both pages were done using the Summer Seas kit from WIOIN extra bits & pieces from my stash.

Just a quick post tonight - feeling super tired (probably work catching up with me) and should get myself to bed. Thanks for dropping by.....and happy scrapping! :)

October Scrap the Boys....

This months challenge at Scrap the Boys is to create a LO using this AD (you can interpret this however you please...colours, sketch, circles, surf inspired...whatever) .

Email your entries to....... by the 31st of October

^^ Here is my sample LO - "Fully Focused"....I used the AD as a sketch, plus took inspiration from the colours - just using scraps of paper to make different sized circles.

Seeing that we're at the beginning of yet ANOTHER new month....I thought it was time for a blog makeover....found some great blog backgrounds at this fantastic site....HotBliggityBlog ....go check them out.

Hope everyone is having a great long weekend....even though the weather is really miserable!
