Scrap Around the World challenge 7 & 1st Nov Stuck?! Sketch

Good evening there peeps,
How is everyone on this magnificent hump day?  All good I hope :)

I'm back to share another layout that I've slowly been creating over the past couple of days (just a bit here & there each night).

It is created for this months Scrap Around the World challenge 7 - which is a gorgeous mood board created by Leonie Neal-Dawson - who is the master of colour!  So of course Leonie's mood board is full of amazing vibrant colours.

Here is what I created.....inspired by the vibrant rainbow of colours on Leonie's board.

Using pics from our Ireland trip....in Dublin, at the Windmill Lane Studios where U2 recorded their early stuff back in the early 80's.  The walls are now covered in graffiti that's been adorned by fans from all over the world as a tribute to U2...so it was quite colourful & hence the reason I decided to scrap these pics for this challenge!

Here is Leonie's mood board...

Don't ya just love those gorgeous vibrant colours!

I have based my layout on the 1st Nov sketch at Stuck?! Sketches...
Here is the sketch...

And now for some close ups....

A variety of chipboard pieces here...including some 2crafty!
Gesso'd, gelato'd, stamped & doodled....

The large chipboard circle is 2crafty too....one of the outer pieces from the clock face frames.

Here you can see some of the textured background.
Lots of layers of modelling paste mixed with mists, gesso, template work & stamping.

Soooo, this one was a lot of fun....loved working with such a variety of colours & textures & getting very messy! (thanks for the awesome mood board, Leonie!)

Until next time...happy scrapping & take care!  xx

Perfect photos for this mood board. I often create layouts over a few days adding bits here and there. It may be slow but I find it a satisfying way to work and by the end I'm always happy with the result, which I'm sure you are with this one. I Just love it! cheers. :)
