More Teresa Collins "Daily Stories" for All About Scrapbooks/Scrap Around the World April mood board

Hello there everyone :)

Today I'm back to share my 3rd layout using Teresa Collins Daily Stories as part of my April DT work for All About Scrapbooks

I can't stress enough how gorgeous this collection is...and if you've ever worked with a Teresa Collins collection before, you will know the quality of the paper - it is nice and thick, and has a lovely texture to it which makes it wonderful to work with!!  So I suggest you grab yourself some of this one....and perhaps you might want to think about getting 2 of each paper, because both sides are equally gorgeous, and you'll find it hard to decide which to use....but having 2 of each = problem solved! :D

So here is my layout, that is based on the April mood board at Scrap Around The World

"2 of a Kind"

My page turned out very different to how it first started - which was a disaster!!  But when it's a DT layout, and your 3rd for the month, pretty much means there's not going to be alot of papers left, so it's not like I could just give up on it & chuck it out, although I did feel like doing that at one point, because it really did look awful.  But I walked away from it, and came back to it several hours later to end up with something that I really like!  Who would have thought!  I just wish I would have take a photo of is when it was looking so bad!

My inspiration from the mood board was the soft mint green colour in the top 2 photos, the crackle effect in the bottom centre photo, and the butterflies in the bottom left photo :)

On with some close ups...

Take care everyone!  xx

Absolutely lovely. Love how you layered some of the butterflies. And the colours are beautiful from the inspiration board.
I know what you mean about near-disasters - I recently saved a page after spilling half a bottle of BLACK Glimmermist on it! There are no signs of a bad past on your page though :)
