Last layout with Echo Park - Jack & Jill, for All About Scrapbooks

Hello everyone

I have one last layout to share for May for All About Scrapbooks, using the Boy side of

This has been such a FUN collection to play with...and I've loved each of the layout's created with it.

The blue's, grey & orange are just WOW...they go together so beautifully!
And, I have to say that they go rather nicely on a kraft background too :)

"My Dad"

I used the kraft for my background, not only because it went so well with the colours & the brown paper bag I used in behind the photo, which also serves as a little pocket for a journal card...but also because I had no full sheets of PP left! lol

So, this is my Dad <3  in his younger days...around 1960, before I was even born.
He looks so very young....but has not changed one bit, and is still as handsome as ever :)

Here's a few close ups....

The paper bag was a large, normal sized lunch bag, but I have folded it up to make it smaller so that it was in proportion to the photo....I've also added some Jillibean Soup lattice placemat on top of the bag.

This is the journal card popping out the side of the paper bag.

The folded paper bag adds a little bit of height to the page, which I really like :)

And there is the journal card.... minus the journaling!
I will get to it soon :)

So that is the last of my DT work for May.
I wonder what I will be playing with next month???

Anyways, for all the details on techniques & products, head on over to the
All About Scrapbooks blog HERE

Thanks so much for popping by today :)
Take care & I hope you're enjoying your weekend!  xx

What an amazing masculine lay-out! The kraft cardstock makes a really good background for all the masculine colours.

Lovely page....the 'banners' worked a treat using the string & I like the height from that bag, too....GORGEOUS page! Hopefully you will be working a little less hard on scrappy stuff next month!!!

This layout is so lovely Linda! You have a good eye for layering colours so they enhance each other. Wonderful tribute to your dad too! I look forward to seeing what you create next month!
