Today I {heart}....

Felicity has challenged us over at Bon's to blog about the things we {heart} today.

My 3 things are...

1.  I {heart} that we have had some rain over the last few days (thanks to Cyclone Olga) - enough that the grass has grown & has turned green in patches :)

2.  I {heart} that Joel loves his music so much - he has a jam on this at least once every day

3.  I {heart} all the fantastic challenges that are happening over at Bon's - especially for the Game On comp!

I am scrapping more than I normally would (gotta love that)....and I'm being challenged outside of my normal scrapping square.  And there's lots of amazing inspiration happening in the gallery atm too - head on over & check it all out....HERE

Almost the end of another week

I don't know where this week has gone, but it's gone wayyyy too quickly....it's back to work tomorrow.  *sigh*. 

Before we know it, it will be March :-O.  And can you believe there are Easter eggs in the shops already!!!...I noticed them last week & couldn't believe it - I'd swear they bring them out earlier each year.  Andddddd....about a month ago I noticed Woolworths had Hot Cross Buns....do you think they actually sell any at this time of year?  I wouldn't have thought they would, but why do it then?  People obviously must buy them....it's crazy!

I have been busy scrap, scrap, scrapping!  :)

This was a challenge over at Bon's as part of Game On.  Skye set the challenge - 80% of the LO had to be blue & it had to be a male LO, but not your son -  Loved this challenge :)

Another challenge that is for Game On.  To do a LO on something that you had as your favourite 9.

My favourite 9 were all my favourite Lo's from 2009 - so I chose to scraplift one of those LO's - "Lest we forget".  This pic is of my Nan (we think in about the late 1940's)....the Lest we forget LO was my Grandfather.

And here is my mini album, again part of Game on at Bon's.  Sandie set the challenge to do a mini album using fabric - at first I thought "Ï can't do that"....but after a bit of thought, I decided to give it a go & am so glad that I did....love how it came out :)

KRAFT IT UP Feb challenge....

So the first challenge over at KRAFT IT UP  is....

You MUST use KRAFT, whether it is Kraft cardstock or Kraft patterned paper like the Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts range - this must be the base for your layout.

You also need to HEAVILY DISTRESS - think lots of ink, paper crumpling, or attacking your page with your Edge Distresser or a pair of scissors.

We want you to grunge it up!

You can use any other products you want as long as you do the above - KRAFT & HEAVILY DISTRESSED!!!

This is a fanastic challenge...& I loved doing this one & just adore my finished LO - a pic from our recent holiday at Norfolk Island.  I hope all my followers out there will give this months challenge a go!

I took inspiration from the entire quote - as this suited Kate (DD) down to a T....she already dances like no-one is watching, sings like no-one is listening, loves like she's never been hurt & lives like it's heaven on earth! (probably a bit too much at times...lol) - and my wish is that she always will :)
