Kaisercraft "Key to my heart" for All About Scrapbooks - Kaisercraft Saturday sketch - Dec #1 + some exciting news!!!

Hi all....I am back today to share the 2nd part of this weeks DT work for All About Scrapbooks, using Kaisercrafts "Key to my heart" collection.

But first things first....I have some amazing, super duper exciting news to share!
Something I've been keeping a secret for, for months...but I can now reveal what my news is.
I WILL BE JOINING THE SCRAPBOOKING MEMORIES (AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST SCRAPPING MAGAZINE) CREATIVE TEAM FOR 2014!!!!!  I am still pinching myself about this one....I find it hard to believe that little ol me, the quiet achiever (as I've been called many times) has been given this amazing opportunity.  So as of January you will start to see my articles in SBM....I can't wait!

Ok, on with my scrapping share :)

My layout is based on the Saturday sketch for Dec #1 over on the Kaisercraft blog.
Here is what I came up with....I've tried to achieve a bit of a vintagy feel to go with my photo....

All Kaisercraft products, bar a few pieces.  Kaisercraft products are -  papers from Key to my heart as well as diecuts from the Collections pack, wooden embellishments, paper blooms, lace, script stamp & bubbles template.

And here are a few close ups....

My main cluster

Title & journaling

Butterflies from the Collections pack

Pic is of my mum & 3 of her sisters (she is on the far right) around 1950...somewhere in Sydney.
I am still trying to find out the exact details, and will add any relevant journaling as it comes to hand (as I do like to tell the whole story...lol)
I am going to give the layout to my mum as part of her christmas present this year....I'm pretty sure she is going to love it <3

You can see my post over on the All About Scrapbooks blog HERE
including more details and a full list of products used.

Anyways...until next time, happy scrapping & have a great week  xx

Prima "Sunrise Sunset" for All About Scrapbooks - Prima December BAP

Hi everyone & welcome :)

I am back again to share more creativity for All About Scrapbooks using the stunning Prima "Sunrise Sunset" collection....and what more can I say, than this collection was such a joy to work with & I love it!

So my layout is based on the December Prima BAP (Build a page)...and this is what I came up with

Oodles of Prima used here - All papers are Prima - Sunrise Sunset collection, then there's Prima flowers, alphas x 2, vintage trinkets, JunkYard Findings - Vintage zipper trinket, resin corners & key lock, stitched circles stamp.

Photo is of the Molly Malone statue In Dublin from our recent trip to Ireland.
The words to the complete song are journaled on the back of the layout.

Here is this months Prima BAP - which was so easy & fun to work with!

 2013 December BAP Magda

And now for a few close ups.....

Title...using 2 different Prima alphas....and some textured background work with stamping using the Stitched Circles stamp.....and I have to say that this stamp is fantastic...and genius IMO!  The largest of the stamps in the pack actually comes apart and is 3 stamps in one!

An overall view of my photo & clusters....as well as a bit of textured background work.

And the main cluster with more Prima goodness.

So there you have it....my first ever attempt at a Prima BAP!
And it was a heap of FUN!

More close ups & details on products used, including links to the All About Scrapbook store, are over on the AAS blog HERE...I would love it if you popped over for a looksie, and also become a follower of the All About Scrapbooks blog if you aren't already.....thanks :)

Thanks so much for dropping by & I hope you have enjoyed your visit....xx

Sunshine in my soul card for All About Scrapbooks - Cardabilities sketch # 88

Good morning scrappers....happy Sunday!

I'm back to share a card I created using some of the leftover pieces from my Glitz - "Sunshine in my soul" DT pack from All About Scrapbooks...based on sketch #88 at Cardabilities.

I am seriously NOT a card maker, so it's a fairly simple one & is very true to the sketch.
Using the Glitz Design papers & stickers, Manor House & Green Tara flowers, 2Crafty chipboard, some twine & Kaisercraft pearls.

A close up of the wee cluster

And the sentiment using the alphas from the Alphabets & words sticker sheet.

You can see my blogpost over on the All About Scrapbooks blog HERE
Including a full list of products with links at the bottom of the post.
Please pop over and check out this brand new blog,
and it would be fantastic if you would become a follower :)

Thanks so much for dropping by....enjoy your Sunday :)  xx
