Yay, I've scrapped!!!

Finally!.....and it felt good too :)

Last Sunday night I just felt like scrapping, so I was hopping around all the different challenge & forum sites for some inspiration, and as soon as I seen the December sketch at The Scrapbook Store, I thought, YEP this is the one!....and so I busily got scrapping.  But as I'm a fairly slow scrapper (although, occasionally a layout will come together rather quickly for me), I've been working on it here & there, in between doing the umpteen other things at this busy time of year, and I only just finished the final touches last night.....

I've used 7 Dot Studio "Domestic Goddess" papers from the gorgeous C'est Magnifique November kit that I won from their recent blog hop.....plus there's lots of 2crafty chipboard in there as well :)

Here is the amazing December sketch at The Scrapbook Store....

December 2012 Sketch Competion

And now for a few close ups....

This gorgeous 2 crafty piece is one of the Corner Arches, that comes in a set of 2...I've simply given it a few coats of gesso with a dabbing effect rather than stroking with my brush...then I painted it with Viva Pink Glimmermist, added a dab here & there using the "Copper" paint dabber that came in the C'est Magnifique kit, and then added a few swipes of gesso over the top using my finger

Under my title is a piece of 2crafty Ornate Fence that was cut in half, then primed with gesso & then painted with Old Lace Glimmermist.

The tiny ATC butterflies were given the same treatment, with a small pearl added for their bodies.

I also added a few of the butterflies to a large Manor House Creations flower.

That's all I have to share for now, peeps.
My December photo a day challenge has kind of fallen off the radar :(
I had some problems with facebook, and then with being busy etc...it seems to have fallen by the wayside.  Maybe I will pick it back up again at some stage....I will see how it goes (fingers crossed!)

Thanks so much for dropping by my little part of the world.
Take care..... xx
