FabScraps - Wild at Heart {Guest designing for The Scrapbook Store} - Stuck Sketch #20

Hi everyone.....here I am back with my first layout as GD for The Scrapbook Store using FabScraps "Wild at heart"..... you can find it in store HERE

My layout is based on sketch #20 at Stuck sketches (I haven't played along there for such a long time!).... here is my take on it

For this layout I've used the Wild Tunes papers from the Wild at Heart range
& the pic is of my sons band when they were ready to go on stage as a support band for "Tonight Alive" (apparently they're a big band here in Aus....but what would one's mum know?!? lol)

{A list with links of products used can be seen at the bottom of my post}

Here I've used the FabScraps Chipboard Guitar....that I've covered in Tim Holtz Distress Glitter, which was super easy to apply - just use any wet adhesive (I used craft glue) then sprinkle the distress glitter all over, don't be too scared to use too much, as you then shake the excess off & pour back into the little jar.  I then swiped some gesso with my finger around the edges so that it didn't blend in too much with my background paper.  The thing I love about this distress glitter, is that it is not overly glittery at all, so is great for masculine pages too!  There's also one of the metal cogs from the Finnabair Mechanicals pack in amongst my cluster as well....loooove these!

And I have journaled all the details on the Die Cut Tag popping out at the side near the cluster.

Here you can see a bit of the background work....using CW Mini Harlequin template & some Kaisercraft stamping....oh, and there's a 2Crafty chipboard arrow in there too!

Title and some more 2Crafty arrows

A few paper clips & some gyprocking tape with a few brads from my stash

Another of the Finnabair Mechanicals...with a tiny brad added to the centre.

And here you can see an overall close up.

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog today.....until next time, take care! xx

Super duper masculine page! Your layering is soooo goood. Never too bulky but still with loads of interesting bits tucked in. Love that stenciling too...
