Kaisercraft DT - Blue Bay

 Hi everyone

As always, there are 3 new Kaisercraft releases for this month.....so my post today is to share my DT work using the first of these 3 releases....and it is a super gorgeous collection,
called BLUE BAY

This would have to be one of my new fav's from Kaisercraft....I love the colours, the patterns & all the pieces in the collectables pack, sticker sheet, and all the other bits that come with this collection....it is all just to die for!

"This is Me"
{Oh yes it is....lol}

Me back in approx 1973...and I believe that this is my first ever selfie - who knew it would become THE new phenomenon some 40 odd years later!

This collection comes with quite a few papers that I just loved to cut up to use in my layers around the photo....All the doors that you can see come from the Sky Blue paper....which is covered in all these fabulous looking doors - all different sizes & colours <3  And also one of the specialty papers, having heaps of beautiful frames on it...some with verses inside them, and others just blank.  Well, I cut some of those up too, to add in the layers as well....oh such fun!  Some of the collectables pieces are doors & frames also.

I've used the Lattice template with modelling paste on the background....with some stamping using Rocks, Grid & Tiny Dot stamps

See how Kaisercraft paper blooms ALWAYS match with their paper collections?!
I think that's so cool...and so very clever!  It's not like they produce new flowers to compliment each new paper collection....their paper collections just always go with their existing blooms....way cool!

I absolutely LOVE that ornate clock face that is in the Collectables pack....all that fine detail makes it look so real....and 3D - just magical.

Here you can see some of the frames & doors that I cut out, and a few of the diecut collectables pieces....I also used some of the Sea Breeze Captured Moments cards in my layering as well.

One of the new Clear Butterfly stickers that I've put onto plain white cardstock.

Next I have a mini album....

{I have used a fair bit of non-Kaisercraft flowers & other bits {chipboard & wood veneers}from my stash...using pieces that I felt finished each page off nicely.  With Kaisercraft flowers being quite bulky, it was difficult to use them on the inside pages as the pages would not be able to close properly, so hence the reason I have used other brands of flowers that are a lot flatter}

"Kioloa 2013"

I have had this little album in my stash for.ever....I'm talking years & years - So long ago that I don't remember where I got it!  But I'm glad that I had it, and never used it, because it goes perfectly with the colours of the Blue Bay collection, and you'd think it was made for it.

The cover is just a few layers of paper, with more layers using the Captured Moments cards...then topped off with a few blooms, Collectables pieces & some punched leaves...and Kaisercraft alpha stickers for the title :)

Now for the inside of the album

I stuck to having photos only on one side of each page.... keeping the other side for journaling etc

I have mostly used papers from the Blue Bay paper pad....and on the journaling side of the page, I've used more of the Captured Moments cards

I've used lots of 2Crafty chipboard throughout the album....seeings I have LOTS of it on hand, plus I love using it on my work :)

Mr Oscar having fun in the sand <3

Some quick & easy journaling strips in a few different colours, helps to keep the page from looking so bland if I'd just used one colour.

I've also used other bits n bobs from my stash....this one is a Flutterby Flair, plus pieces from the Blue Bay sticker sheet, collectables pack & paper pad

This is one of the frames from the collectables pack & I've slipped one of the tags
down so that it partially sits inside the frame

And here's more doors cut from the Sky Blue paper

This is one of the 3x4 Sea Beeze Captured Moments cards, placed on top of a paper doily with some journaling around the outside of the card.  Also another of the clear Butterfly stickers, finished off with a pearl on top.

Some more 2Crafty Butterflies, topped off with some KC Rhinestones

One of the plainer Captured Moment's cards that was perfect for adding some journaling.

Don't ever throw away the cut off strips at the bottom of your papers...they always come in handy for so many uses.  Here I've added a strip to separate the 2 different papers on the page {plus it helps to cover up the join!}.

I love this page....I think the pieces from the 2Crafty Circular panel just sets it off perfectly :)

Here is another of the Kaisercraft clear Butterfly stickers....a much bigger one & it is gorgeous!
I have topped it off with one of the Collectables pieces & a mini paper bloom.

I love this photo of our toes in the sand...including Mr Oscar's. lol <3

Here I've cut down one of the 3x4 Captured Moment's cards & then mounted it onto another full sized card, with some strip journaling from one of the pages in the paper pad.

Another of the cut-off strips at the top of the page...as well as some word stickers that I cut up from a longer verse on the sticker sheet.

So there you have the beautiful BLUE BAY collection, which is available at
All About Scrapbooks HERE

I do hope you have been inspired by it :)
Thanks so much for dropping by!  xx

Too wonderful! Nice collection. Love the chalky colours. Don't ever buy KC myself as I limit myself to Prima or I'd never be able to scrap it all. That clock does indeed look very yumm...
