Sketch #46 - Keeping the Best

Wow, 3 blogposts in 2 days....miracles do happen! lol

I discovered Keeping the Best sketch challenge blog today (via Chantelle Huizenga's blog) and loved sketch #46 as soon as I seen it!

Here is my take on it....which is a bit on the minimal side for me, but I'm really happy with how it came out....

Again,  using up the BG "Clippings" kit from Paper Stories...that I've had like f.o.r.e.v.e.r  & am so glad that I'm finally using it all up!

This is the awesome sketch...

A few close ups....

Here I've used the 2crafty - Tattoo Swirl - that I've primed in gesso then painted with burnt red glimmermist & then lightly inked with black ink.

And the same with the title, which is 2crafty - Everyday Font.
Then to make the title stand out a bit more, I added some AC thickers over the top of the chipboard alphas.

I love the little banner that was part of the Clippings kit & have popped it to the side of my photo.

Well that's all from me....until next time (whenever that might be!)
The weekend is almost coming to an end here....so enjoy the rest of it, wherever you may be in this big wide world....and I hope everyone has a great week to follow :)  xx

Amazing layout! These papers are so tribal and cool!! Still lots of awesome detail like your penant flags down the side & the stamping & inking has not gone unnoticed either :)
