CSI case file No 64

Hi everyone,
I'm back again to share a layout for CSI case file No 64

I loved the colours in this case as soon as I seen them over on Lizzy Hill's blog yesterday.  Although I loved them so much, I didn't think I'd get a chance to participate....but at about 10pm last night, I thought, why not?  lol

There's nothing like last minute decisions....so I sat up till about 1.30pm, determined to get it finished before going to bed.  And yay....I got it done!  even if the last minute rubons I wanted to apply would NOT rub-on!!!  grrrr don't you hate that :(

so anyways....here is my completed layout....

I used lots of old paper stash for this one....some SUPER old Basic Grey - "LilyKate" collection...plus BG - "Out of Print"...and another really old piece of Cosmo Cricket from the "Wanted" collection

I love it when I use up old bits of stash like that!

And here is the case file.....

For the evidence I've used a template & stamps on my background.  Some 2crafty leaves in my cluster and some rubons ( that didn't work too well)...I also did some pen work, doodling around the edges of papers & photos as well as on the leaves.  I guess there's also words as embellishments in there too (the rubons)

For the testimony, I've used words from the scene in my journaling - Begin and Attempt.

Here are a few close ups....

My cluster which has some doodled 2crafty Autumn leaves...and also a piece cut from

Title....with doodling pen work around the edges of the OA alpha stickers
And the rub on...that didn't work properly (thinking I'll have to try to fill in the missing bits with pen)

Here's the other piece cut from the 2crafty Frame Bracket Borders

And my journaling....that includes the words, Begin & attempt.
Plus you can see another rubon - the word Explore at the bottom of the top photo.

Well, that was a heap of fun!
I'm so glad I made that late night decision to get scrapping & complete this challenge :)

Thanks so much for looking!  :) xx
Enjoy the last day of this fabo long weekend.....

Linda it was well worth the late night, I think this is amazing. I particularly love the stamping or is your own hand doodling around the page and under the photos. Love it a lot.
