Some non challenge/DT OTP scrapping....

Hi everyone...thanks so much for popping by today :)

I have had this Kaisercraft craft caddy in my stash for close on 12 months (maybe more).  I did make a start on it many months ago, but I didn't get very far.  After receiving my "Peoples Choice" prize pack from Scrapbooking Memories and Kaisercraft - which included a LOT of other Kaisercraft craft storage/OTP goodies.....I thought I'd best get this one finished first before cracking into my new goodies!  ( I will do a future post to show the prizes I received soon....all I can say is that I'm blown away at how much there is! )

So anyways....this is the craft caddy in it's raw state.

BTP - Craft Caddy
And it does require some putting it together....it comes in like a flat pack type thing.  And the best bit I like, is that it swivels around....see the circular bit at the bottom?  Well, it has like a lazy susan type thing that you fit underneath to make it swivel! so cool :)

And here is it after I painted, papered & inked....without any embellishments....

The papers I used are from the Kaisercraft "These Days" collection....which I bought at the same time as the caddy, with their colours in mind to fit in with my scrap room.

And here it is after I embellished, showing all 4 sides.......

I've used lots of Kaisercraft embellishments from a few different collections.....along with Prima & Manor House Creations flowers, and some 2crafty chipboard

Here are a few close ups....

Using 2 of the 2crafty Lace Squares - above and below

2crafty Damask painted in a mixture of acrylic paints with a button popped on top.

And this piece is one of the 2crafty - Vintage Element, that has simply been inked in pinecone ink with a another button popped on the centre.

I am so pleased with how this has turned out....AND even more pleased that I've finally got it finished!  It was a lot of fun to put it all together & embellish, so I'm really looking foward to now playing with the 3 craft storage items that were in my prize pack :) - lets just hope that they don't take me 12 months to complete!  LOL

Have a great day peoples :)  xx

What fun and it looks soooo good!! I have discovered, after forcing myself to ddo some OTP projects that they are so much simpler than I thought yet pack such a WOW punch! Your drawers look amazing and of course being functional too is all the better...

Wow! It looks fantastic Linda! I have several OTP pieces that I've purchased over the years and it's still in it's packaging. You might just have inspired me to tackle on of them. :) xx
